The mission of The Farries Foundation is to provide scholarships to selected individuals who desire a trade in Dental Assisting thereby providing a foundation for other career paths.
The Farries Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization that awards scholarships to students to attend the Atlanta Academy of Dental Assisting School. The Farries Foundation was created to assist selected students with tuition and give them an opportunity to obtain a trade without the debt associated with traditional post-secondary education.
Angelia M. Farries is the Executive Director with 22 years of experience in management, leadership, business operations, sales, education and training. Her responsibilities include serving as a direct liaison between the board of directors and donors. Angelia has worked in the private and public sector for more than 25 years. She currently serves as a Board Member of Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta in Paulding County, is involved with the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, and also active with the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. She earned her MBA from Brenau University, and a graduate of Leadership Paulding 25, and Georgia Academy for Economic Development program.
Terroll D. Farries is the founder and president of the Atlanta Academy of Dental Assisting School. He has 27 years of experience in the field of dentistry and working post-secondary and higher education. Terroll is a decorated War Veteran of two tours: Desert Shield and Desert Storm with a Honorable Discharge. He earned a Bachelor's degree of Science from Shorter University.
Bettie J. Milledge is the Treasurer and a retired Education Consultant. She is a performance-oriented administrator with more than 35 years of experience in the field of education. She served as a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council for vocational and technical education. She assisted in the development of the first Boys and Girls Club in Romulus, Michigan, and served as the recording secretary during the development. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Roosevelt University, and Master’s degree in Administration from DePaul University.
